Where will I be Nov 14th 9am-4pm? Bringing the “The Don of Real Estate” a hot meatball sandwich and kiss the ring. It’s an Italian thing. A chance to play The Godfather : Corleone's Empire is an offer I can't refuse. Another brilliant game by #EricLang. This is a worker placement game with car bombs and drive-by shootings. I will never turn down the opportunity to play this one. #BoardGames #TabletopGames #StrategyGames #playmoregames #CorleonesEmpire #WorkerPlacementGames #BoardGameAddict #AnOfferYouCantRefuse #CMON #Godfather #TheGodfather

An offer you can't refuse
It all began 10 years ago, when the 17 years old Lola got and offer from her boyfriend's mother. She would get 10,000 Pounds if she broke up with Doug (her boyfriend). She actually didn't want to but she had to take the money to help her stepfather Alex.
10 years later. Lola is now 27 and works in a bookshop. Alex died five years ago and her mother is into dating again. But suddenly her biological father who she never met before turns up. When she helps a woman in the street from getting robbed she doesn't expect anything. But it turns out to be Adele her ex-boyfriend Doug's mum. And so she meets Doug and Sally his sister.
Another person in the story is Gabe, Lola's next door neighbour and friend. He actually wanted to live in Australia for a year but his girlfriend told him she didn't love him any more and he flew back. The only problem: Lola already rented his flat to the messy and tidying hating Sally. Now they have to share the flat.
The book is a great love story with a lovely happy ending for everyone (unlike "The fault in our stars"). I did really enjoy reading it. It's fantastic!
The book is written by Jill Mansell and contains 410 wonderful pages.

( This will be the last review for a while because I will read books that belong into longer series. I spoke about one before. Read the review for the Clockwork Chronicles here.)
