She laughs to herself, before giving the rabbit the map.
“See? This is why you have meeee! For navigation!”
The shopkeeper chuckles awkwardly at the mention of being in a video game.
"Welp, you'd best be on your way! See you around!"

“I’m exploring! And also really, really lost, eheh…”
The shopkeeper chuckles, and gives you a map of sorts.
"This map will allow you to fast travel to areas in the caves that you've visited before!"
There is a pink dot on top of Anon Town, showing that you are currently there.
“…I need to get back.”
The shopkeeper winces.
"Well, there's a road that leads out of town, but... it's not the safest... it would be better to stay here. Why would you come in the caves anyways?"
“Um…directions? I’m kind of lost, actually- I’m tryna get back to the surface area…”
The smile disappears from the shopkeeper's face and is replaced with a nervous expression...
"Well... ya see... it's a bit hard to get back once you're this deep in the caves... we suggest you stay in Anon Town, though. Things are a bit more... hostile out there."
“…Huh…”
She beams.
“Thank you!”
The shopkeeper smiles.
"No problem! Is there anything else you would like?"
”…Oh, rats, I don’t have money. Wwwwelp…”
She sets it back down.
The shopkeeper thinks for a moment, before smiling widely.
"Oh! We can give you that one completely free! Hold on..."
The shopkeeper takes the sword from your hands and takes another sword from behind the counter. This other sword is melting and glowing a weird shade of green.
Suddenly, the shopkeeper claps the two swords together, filling the room with a flash of light.
When the flash of light dissipates, only one sword is left! It seems to be the same sword as the one you held earlier, only now it's glowing slightly green.
Oh well, a sword's a sword!
"Here you go!"
The shopkeeper hands the sword to you with a smile.
Hope Anon swings it around a bit, careful not to hurt anything or anyone. She grins with almost childish excitement.
“Cool!”
"Woah there, you can't test weapons in here! You break it, you buy it!"
…Hope anon tentatively picks up the sword.
“…This should work!”
“Coooool.”
"Ah, a classic! Our most popular sword model! We recommend it for a new kid like yourself."
The blade of the sword begins to glow pink.
