what kind of theme they’d have: It’s very neat, probably red and beige, and has an excellent tagging and search system. 

what kind of text posts they make at 2am: it’s mostly ideas for inventions, because he wakes up and needs to type them out somewhere so he’ll remember.

their blog url - would either be something unoriginal like his name, or something to do with wonder woman. Which earns him all sorts of confusion from followers. 

the kind of posts they reblog - really only book reviews, which he makes long and uncalled for disagreement comments on.  

the first person they followed - first was Manny (because he originally set up Bernard’s account.) But he quickly reconciled this by following a blog that protests all facial hair.  He tags Manny in their especially bitter posts. 

what kind of theme they’d have - He hasn’t changed it from the original, and doesn’t even have an icon. 

what kind of text posts they make at 2am - he’s usually awake at 2am anyway, but only posts if Manny is either still out, or is in but being very annoying.  Long-winded and completely un-vague posts about how much hate he has for a certain someone.  But Manny will always like the post, causing Bernard to delete it.

Scorpio is definitely Bernard Black. Angry and misanthropic and possessive of their friends. I feel like Pisces would go well as either Jen Barber or Fran Katzenjammer. Jen especially. Calm and sweet on the outside but capable of unleashing shrieking rage monsters when things don't go their way. Aries with their confidence and nonchalance would be Douglas Reynholm.

WHAT IF Bernard used to live in Ted's old parish before Ted got sent away to Craggy Island and Bernard set up Black Books?They were pretty good friends who only disagreed on one thing: religion. Bernard knows a lot of stuff about Ted that the other Craggy Islanders don't and they have a lot of inside jokes. Dougal feels left out because Ted and Bernard are catching up on everything that's happened since they last met and Ted, Dougal's only friend is ignoring him, and at Christmas time as well!!

I love this.  Bernard, for once, appreciates staying up all night just to talk.  And you’re right, Dougal wouldn’t know what to do with himself.  Manny tries to get him into helping put up decorations, but that isn’t enough of a distraction. 

(I may not even do a fic at this rate; everything the followers are sending is genius.)
