This plaid gown was first seen in the 1985 miniseries 𝑵𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉, where Wendy Kilbourne wore it as Constance Flynn.   It was worn again in a 2015 episode of 𝑨𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒅, where Natasha Leggero wore it as Lillian Bellacourt. It has faded over the years and undergone some alterations, but the overall cut and fabric help to identify it as the same costume.   What do you think of this gown? Bit.ly/VicEd240

This costume is an excellent example of why appropriate undergarments are essential in helping to shape and create a costume's look.   Originally seen on Terri Garber as Ashton Main Huntoon in the 1986 production of 𝘕𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩, this gown went on to appear in the 2017 third season of 𝘈𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘥, on Riki Lindhome as Beatrice Bellacourt. However, a notable change is apparent, as the gown is seen without a hoop skirt or corset, resulting in a visible gap between the bodice and skirt, altering its overall appearance.   Learn more at Bit.ly/VicEd266
