When Karma first confessed his feelings for you, you laughed.
Not because it was funny but because you thought he was kidding, you liked him a lot, your laughter was just a way to disguise your disappointment over the fact he could joke about something like that.
It wasn’t a joke, he couldn’t believe you’d think that.
Once you started dating you realized how easy it was to make him jealous, whenever you wear a new outfit or even look cool sparring Karma looks around to make sure no one (..maehara) is looking at you with heart eyes. He thinks it’s impossible for someone to not like you.
— So when he sees some random guy inching closer to you smiling at who knows what you're saying, Karma starts to get ticked off.
He sneaks over behind you and lightly tugs your ear
“Ow- hey!”
“[Name] who’s your friend?” Karma asks in the most condescending manner possible.
“Oh this is Kenji, he just moved here and was asking me to show him around.”
“Ah really? You’re better off using the maps app.”
Kenji was quick to counter, “id rather go with someone whose familiar with the place, like [name] here.”
Karma turned to make eye contact with Kenji “If that’s the case you wouldn’t want to go with [name].”
“Why not?”
“[Name] would get you both lost, I’ll go with you.”
“No it’s alright, [Name] already agreed.”
You pulled karmas sleeve, “it’s okay, you’re not busy?”
“ ‘Course not, I’ve got time for you, let’s go.”
The whole walk Karma made sure to put a good distance between you and Kenji while keeping his arm on you.
He seemed annoyed every time Karma held you closer and gave him a side glance.
Karma on the other hand was purposely being touchier just to see the look on his face.
(after a few minutes Kenji realized Karma wasn’t leaving and made an excuse to leave.)
On the way back Karma mentions it to you
“I can’t believe he was trying to make a move on you, it’s good I got there before he got you alone.”
“He just needed help, I think I would know if that were the case!”
“He would’ve used a GPS. You thought I was joking when I told you I liked you, you’re too naive- don’t worry the way he scrunched his face whenever I got close to you made everything worth it!”
“I thought that because you joke about everything! And you’re also…”
“…Also what?”
“Nevermind, forget it.”
“No, say what’s on your mind.” Karma encouraged.
“Can’t you see you’re too good for me? Everyone knows it.”
“Are you kidding? [Name] you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
“Mm...” You looked away he could tell weren’t buying it, he pushed further
“[name], I don’t know why you’re with me.”
“You’re perfect, why wouldn’t I be with you?”
“That’s exactly what I think of you.”

Finally finished this. It was taking so long.
