i have much chars, and many lore. However, i am thinking of adding a david tennant fc to the odd foxes verse and making him either a producer guy (think mark or flood), tour manager (think dick bastille), or the owner of broken axel records who is a wee bit older but also has KnowledgeTM of music industry stuff and teaches the lads how to navigate it a bit (think dan miller) 🤔 if he were the broken axel owner, he'd probably have this lore of being the 'young labelmaster' upstart type who has history of working for other record companies and thought he'd be better off doing his own thing with his own indie label - and while working on that and getting a few people signed, he sees odd foxes and signs them to BA.

if he were their producer guy, he'd be the mediator but also the guy that makes sure the lads actually get some work done without going too bananas - but also he'd be their mentor, older-brother-type confidant, and the back and forth between them and the label's other PR people.

if he were the tour manager, he'd be their older brother type still but also: Tour DadTM (despite him only being about the same age as james, if not a squee bit older by a few months to a year). he'd protect them but also get their arses into gear.

either way, his name would be dylan and everyone would call him dull (which, ironically, is the welsh way of pronouncing the shortened form of dylan, dyl lmaoooo) - during the 80s setting, his main look would be basically campbell bain but during the 2023 setting, he'd be present!david.

(in-universe) this is a photograph of dan and hela taken by james while on a silk milk tour in early 1979 (when he was briefly a drum tech for the band) the night before their second anniversary as a couple (and roughly eight years before they married); in 2025, james finds the old photograph while going through some stuff in the attic/drum room at his house and sends it to dan through the post and dan puts it in a slate frame and on top of hela's ashes on his mantelpiece.
