Again nothing in particular but he likes to try weird flavours and then drink them like nothing is odd.
28:Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?
It’s a little hard to tell what Akagi actually thought of those around him, honestly. Akagi always stays a little ..far, his ..reactions are more than often viewed from other people’s pov? Except when he’s facing death etc.
but Akagi was mostly just…indifferent towards people. Rarely ever people considered him outside of the match since Akagi was still so very distant, difficult to approach. He did stick to some people like Nangou and Osamu to help them out of the trouble and maybe even push them to do some kind of decision with their lives but in the end Akagi just left them on their own once that was over? I do think he did at least appreciate Nangou at least, I’m not sure. Then there was Yasuoka & others but lots of them just really took advantage of Akagi buuut then again Akagi kind of let them, he was fully aware of it and was yet again entirely indifferent about that.
In Ten he actually had some people he was more connected with - those that Akagi invited to his “funeral”. Basically to allow each of them to talk with him. And those were the people that was closest with at the time and probably generally as close as he could allow them to be. There’s actually quite an amount of those sigh and this is aLREADY GETTING LONG….
As for enemies he had many, many of them are sort of one sided though. Akagi didn’t care that much of any rivalries people tried pining on him… There was of course Iwao Washizu (the match in the manga is ridiculous and been going like 10 years, I’m so glad anime exists) but again rather than enemy it’s ‘formidable opponent’ and there was those among his friends too, like Ten aaand well Hiroyuki.
In the end Akagi liked people who despite their abilities tried to push forward if it was something they wanted to do despite the risks and people that didn’t have confidence based on nothing.
