A Christmas gift for @temiree, an excellent artist from whom I consistently draw inspiration and the author of the comic “Little Runt.” He’s been drawing some adorable drawings of his kangaroo fighter character Nes Irwin as a kid with his (late) father, Taylor Irwin, so I decided to draw a scene of Taylor and Nes play-fighting in the ring after one of Taylor’s training days.

Fun Fact—a comment on Patreon made me think of Baloo and Mowgli play-fighting, so I used a screen-shot from that scene for some pose and composition inspiration.

Thanks for the inspiration, Tem, and Merry Christmas to all.
