On the left is my OC Hungary, on the right is APH Hungary.
"Istennel a hazáért és a szabadságért." : "With God for Homeland and Freedom". This phrase in Latin was the motto of Prince Francis II Rákóczi during the anti-Habsburg uprising.
"Magyarország örökké szabad!" : "Hungary is forever free!". This is the first law of the Doctrine of the Crown of St. Stephen.
Although people always see the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth as a marriage between Poland and Lithuania, from my perspective, Lithuania was already married to Belarus long before (Belarus was White Ruthenia back then). So the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth to me is like Poland being the guardian of the Lithuania x Belarus couple (with some others, of course). While Russia/Muscovy tried to divide Lithuania and Belarus, Poland tried to protect the couple and maintain their marriage for hundreds of years. I think Poland is the number one fan of couple Lithuania x Belarus.
On the other hand, the marriage between Poland and Hungary during the Angevin period was what laid the foundation for the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth later on, not to mention the Polish love for Jadwiga and the mutual influence of the two sides during the Jagiellon period before Hungary was divided. I believe that the members of the Commonwealth regarded Hungary as their master's consort and often called Hungary “my lady”. I think that the former members of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Prussia, Latvia, etc.) have not changed their habit of calling Hungary “my lady” even though they no longer call Poland “my master”. Some people call Hungary “my lady” sarcastically because they dislike her and Poland, some simply call her that out of habit for hundreds of years.

Birthday celebrated on (not date of birth): November 11, anniversary of Polish independence and the founding of the Second Republic.
Gender: male, easily mistaken for female if not for his wild hairstyle
Nationality: Polish
Place of residence: Prague suburbs (why he lives in the Czech Republic, it has to do with my nationverse lore)
Occupation: in peacetime, a rich young master who spends money like water, in wartime, a general who rushes to the front lines, holding a sword in one hand and a Bible in the other. It's always been like that.
Height: 1m88
Personality: reckless, dreamy, very confident in himself, always enthusiastic about everything. Keeps promises to the end, also trusts the other person to the end. Always gets up and smiles no matter how many times he is knocked down. Confident enough to look like he is going to win in the most dire of situations. The number of people who love him is equal to the number of people who hate him, people only love or hate Nikodem very much, there is no in between. Those who hate him will say he is arrogant and autocratic, those who love him will say he is generous and noble.
Not at all vengeful. The kind of person who is generous and willing to forgive everything if the other person apologizes. Will help you wholeheartedly if you ask him to. Also the person who will spam your messages from your physical inbox to gmail to social platforms when he wants something from you. Sometimes (actually often) clingy and annoying.
Actually quite sensitive but often covered by a mask of overconfidence. The sensitive side is only revealed with Erzsébet.
Strength and hobbies: fighting (of course). Making friends everywhere and making enemies everywhere. Drinking to celebrate a special occasion (he didn't drink at first but was lured by the alcoholic Erzsébet). Likes reading martial arts novels. Likes to go on adventures, eliminate evil, help good people, sometimes has an exaggerated savior complex. His fashion sense and aesthetics are quite flashy.
Weaknesses: He's the type of person who will write novels about his 12 victories. Quite dictatorial and autocratic towards those he considers under his authority and protection, but is almost unaware of that autocratic nature and thinks he wants the best for them. When in fighting mode, he's very scary (he's also unaware of this trait of his own). Really likes to preach and impose his way of life on others. Spends money like water, can throw half of his monthly salary to a homeless person on the street.
Religion: devout Roman Catholic.

Gender: female, but often mistaken for male
Nationality: Hungarian
Place of residence: Prague suburbs (why she lives in the Czech Republic, it's related to my nationverse lore)
Occupation: ex-soldier, ex-mercenary, ex-hunter, ex-debt collector, currently a blacksmith and horse herder by trade, but her husband is the breadwinner of the family, she works as a blacksmith and horse herder for fun.
Height: 1m7
Personality: decisive, pragmatic, doesn't like to lie, quiet but when she speaks she looks like she's snapping at others, has anger issues but is well controlled. She holds grudges, calculating old grudges and new debts meticulously. However, she values her relationships very much, she is courageous and never abandons the people around her.
Strengths and hobbies: She is the type of person who can chop wood, split wood and build a wooden house by herself without anyone's help. When fighting, every move she makes is dangerous, any move can kill the opponent. She can survive in the forest with only a knife. She likes drinking (extremely high alcohol tolerance), playing cards (always loses and gets lured in by the bait), fighting, ancient weapons (bow, crossbow, sword), horses.
Weaknesses: not good at allocating expenses so always in a state of empty pockets, not understanding housework, not knowing how to comfort others, sometimes behaving quite inconsiderately because of not understanding common sense, if not on a formal occasion she goes out dressed like a homeless person (she has lived among old soldier men for so long that she does not care about her appearance), "wait for me ten minutes, I will shower and get ready" but 3 minutes later she is seen taking her motorbike out.
Does not like modern weapons such as guns. Sleeps with a sword more than with her husband. Was once caught by her son kissing a chipped sword.
Religion: a combination of Protestantism and Islam but under the guise of Roman Catholicism.

[Hungary x Poland]
These are my anthropomorphic male Hungary and female Poland designs. A Hungarian male and a Polish female are also typical couples in Poland or Hungary.
Aleksandra is an extremely arrogant and contemptuous character. Well, she is the typical hime-sama type in anime. But she is not a lady who lives in luxury, she has a very wild and violent personality when fighting. She is extremely reckless, often risks her life and loves the feeling of adrenaline flowing through her body when fighting in a life-or-death manner. All the wealth and riches she has are all things she fought for herself.
Ferenc is quiet, calm, and honorable. He often calculates very carefully before acting, but when he acts, he acts very decisively and quickly. Oh, and he is quite poor. He also lives frugally. So the clothes he wears are all bought by Aleksandra.
Aleksandra is 10cm taller than Ferenc. Aleksandra is 1m8, Ferenc is 1m7. But Ferenc is quite overprotective of Aleksandra (although Alek doesn't need it because she often rides with a pack of hunting dogs, wielding a sword skillfully). As for Aleksandra, a contemptuous person like her rarely respects anyone, and Ferenc is always her exception.
[OC lore] The Children of Carpath (1) (Poland x Hungary lore)
Short story 1: The story of the founding of Hungary
Context: after the Magyars established their nation in Europe, they were faced with the choice of fighting against the European countries by force alone or converting to integrate with the European countries. Europe at that time was divided into two Christian factions, due to the division between the Western Roman Empire and the Eastern Roman Empire. The Western Roman Empire had already collapsed when the Magyars arrived, leaving the Roman Catholic Church in Western Europe. The Eastern Roman Empire still existed at that time, with Byzantine (later occupied by the Ottomans and now the capital of Türkiye) and Byzantine was the headquarters of the Eastern Church aka the Orthodox Church today. At this time, the European countries that split from the Western Roman Empire followed Roman Catholicism, competing with the countries that followed Byzantine aka the Eastern Church. The Hungarians will have to choose one of the two sides to convert to if they want to continue living in Europe.

I wanted to post this story on August 20th, but I was very busy that day. I had to make this story's birthday August 19th. I want to draw it as a series. I don't know if I have the strength to do this.
You can comment me if you find any mistakes. My knowledge is still very lacking.
I wouldn't have invested this much in Poland and Hungary if the Poland x Hungary shipdom hadn't flopped to the point that no place, whether APH or CHs, could create a separate lore for this pair.
