9/11/01: Little 4th grade Gabby in elementary school … RUNNING down to my mom’s classroom in fear … witnessing suicide for the first time EVER on the news (“the jumpers”) … seeing the smoke in the distance … watching all of my loved ones terrified. It’s etched in my memory. It bombards my thoughts at least once a month. I will never, and CAN NEVER forget.
