How do you feel about Pride Month???🏳‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Do you think it's unfair that this holiday lasts a month compared to other holidays, and even then, the deceased are not mentioned?

I like it on the basis of 'yes, let's remember the gays and lesbians who had to fight for their right to exist in a society that first wanted to actually eradicate them, then wanted to forcibly convert them, and then wanted to legit pretend they didn't exist.

I don't like that it's been hi-jacked by a bunch of weirdos who confuse personality (or, really, lack of it) for sexuality, gender identity, kink, and whatever else bullshit they drag to Pride events.

I don't like that people pretend Pride is a kids event and then still continue to butt-ass naked, walking on all 4 next to their mommy-domme, AND acting like that belongs at Pride at all. Kink is not what pride is for. Kink is for your bedroom or to discuss with you therapist. Gay, lesbian, straight, bi. Y'all all do kink. Why the fuck is it at Pride??

I don't like anything to do with this new wave of 'trans pride' and all of its destructive, misogynystic, predatory, etc bullshit. I don't think they should be included (especially when the vast majority of 'trans' people aren't actually dysphoric are are just hopping on trends or finding ways to either prey on or kink out in public) and I think their insistence on rewriting history, forcing inclusion, ON TOP of harming women and kids is fucking gross.

Pride being an entire month has never been even an issue in my mind. It's not like society halts for a month to give us a month off of work. Nothing really changes other than corporations may or may not add more rainbows and commercials might end with a token 'happy pride' logo or some shit. But most corporations saw how toxic the non-gay (so the trans and gender cults) communities got in past years and have really taken a step back.

Which is a shame bc, after all, they aren't the groups being celebrated and remembered BUT, also, means we can maybe move towards not being so fucking weird about rainbow flags and kids apparel? Idk. Let's worry about why girl clothes for the same age range cover like 40-60% less skin than the boy clothes before we worry about if a rainbow sheep on a t-shirt will turn 6y/o tony into a gay icon...
