🎨 -> what hobby or activity suits your f/o best, regardless of if they'd be good or bad at it?

I do think smith work fits him really well (and it's something he canonically can do) but also I could see him being really good at leatherwork! Making both practical things like belts and bags but also accessories like bracelets! I think he'd be so good at making stuff with really intricate patterns too, especially if it's traditional dwarvish patterns that are more geometric!

one thing i love about arcane is how it shows you the brutality of war. i saw someone call gert's (the jinxer girl) death pointless and i fully disagree. arcane refuses to romanticise war. instead of desensitising the viewer to the violence by showing a mass of strangers, it shows the individual, making the viewer feel the violence and how it impacts the ones you love most. each person represents their upbringing. isha represents the children of zaun and gert represents the people who fight for their community and how they both are forced to become martyrs.

note: it doesn't just work to show you the brutality of war. it is also there to show the viewer what happens in a setting similar to piltover/zaun. jinx and vi also both show different sides of the people of zaun, to an extreme. jinx (and also ekko while we're at it) represents those who, under different circumstances, would've been recognised for their talents and reached their full potential, but never will, due to a lack of resources, while vi represents those who have never belonged and feel wronged by their own people, now living on the topside and becoming an enforcer. and they both represent how, for them, family is made by the people who help you and love you, not the blood (also shown in the lack of surnames amongst the people of zaun)

Update 3 (Final/wrap up):

I forgot to say but yes the boba candle came in a clear jar and it has these round black balls to mimic boba. So it’s pretty cool (and it smells nice).

If I go again I will definitely be saving up to buy one of the more pricey pieces of jewelry as it was gorgeous. (Real metal too—I got silver but they also had white gold and 18k plated gold (quick note as far as I could tell that gold was real. Spend enough time with gold and/or plated and you can tell the difference (it’s a big one) between what people sell as gold and what’s actually gold)) Anyway rant ok hold aside, we also went exploring and it seemed that they had other cool panels/workshops.

The food was kinda sucky tho. I got a beef and broccoli fried rice and not only was the vegetables cold, the rice was severely undercooked so I definitely do not recommend doing that lol.

Fun fact: I averaged 10,000 steps today.

I also saw one more Chuuya cosplayer (this time as fem Chuuya). If I go again I’m definitely going to dress up (as Chuuya lol).

But anyway it was really fun and I enjoyed going!!

I didnt know that about gold!! (though tbf i also never wear gold so I probably wouldn't notice at all lmao) but YES one thing i can recommend for any con is definitely you want to save cus there is SO MUCH PRETTY STUFF and I always want to buy it all but can't afford it djsjdjdjf

Rip about the food, that sucks, hopefully you got some better food later tho!! perhaps not at the con is the best bet (im pretty its ATL that has the good Ramen place?? or Columbia but I think it's ATL)

definitely I recommend cosplaying!!! there is always a need for more chuuyas in this world. we will create an army (<- is also working on a Chuuya cosplay rn)

Im glad you had fun though!!!! I hope you get to go to more cons in the future as well, cus they can be so much fun, especially when you find cool panels and workshops to go to :3

Motorcycle, they do not have a car. When winter hits they typically either a) walk, b) risk driving their bike, or c) ask for rides.

Croft:

Brand-new (the year they left the real world) jeep. And also a moving trailer that is probably in a field somewhere so they don't have to deal with it.

Jay:

Big red truck :)

Perri:

Something a little whimsical, like a bug. Absolutely papered in bumper stickers.

Ravi:

He drives his hearse almost everywhere. He thinks it's funny. Also technically owns his dad's old station wagon (well. he did.)

Yasmin:

Little blue car, cozy and compact. Can also be seen driving the big-ass library van but she hates it.

Finally able to continue my spider-man movies watch, just finished the amazing spider-man 2 and honestly I heard a lot of bad stuff about it but honestly it was alright!! I think I liked it better than the first just cause of electro, they did him dirty in the second half but I liked his character concept a lot. Harry on the other hand :D not a lot there tbh

Currently reading: Yoshimoto Banana's デッドエンドの思い出 (memories of a dead end? i dont have the english version :'D). 5 different stories revolving around women looking for peace in their everyday lives. A friend recommended it to me almost 3 years ago, I bought it, and only now im getting around to reading it.

Last song: "Shallows" by Daughter. I used to listen to it a lot when I was in highschool and going through a lot, it helps me calm down. But also, its a really good song.

Last series: I rewatched a few ultraman trigger episodes! Mostly because I was looking for a drawing reference and i ended up getting carried away.

Last movie: Whisper of the heart (1995)!! I have a few movies I watch whenever I feel lost or stressed. Swing girls (2004), the girl who leapt through time (2006) and whisper of the heart! so that was yesterday's choice <3

Sweet/savory/spicy: I cannot eat anything spicy, if i even smell chilli peppers im already coughing up my lungs lmao. So sweet it is! I'm that person that orders her soft serve with so much chocolate, it might as well just be chocolate with soft serve on the side.

Currently working on: A lot. I'm finally going back to college after years and I'm nervous!!!

I have a few projects I want to get done by the end of the year, but the main one is a little comic I have planned and some posters I want to design for toku episodes I really like. I have a few sketches done already but im almost done with the "girl gets bullied online because the kaiju she draws appear" episode in orb, and the shadow seijin episodes in geed.
