I saw your tags asking about a new ao3 user help manual. There actually is one! When you very first join the site, there's a banner that pops up welcoming you and linking you to a help document. Most people just dismiss it, though, so you probably don't remember. However ☝️ you can get it back. Go to your Preferences, scroll down to Misc, check of Turn the new user help banner back on, and update your preferences. You'll get a banner with a whole bunch of links to useful stuff.
