"Project LNON" - My Cancelled Magnum Opus
I'm not sure where else to put this, so tumblr is my best option. All of my followers will probably be very confused by this post since it's meant for my YouTube channel. But that's fine.
I believe I've got something to say.
On February 28th, 2023. I uploaded a video that I titled, "ONLINE". This video would be insanely cryptic-looking, showing multiple letters changing every second in the middle of the screen with matrix-like letters falling from the top as well. No one knew what this video meant or what it was leading to except for me.
Shortly after uploading that, I uploaded another video titled, "REVEAL". This video would showcase what would happen if you connected to a domain called projectlnon.online. Once connected and you click, the letters in the middle of the screen would form, "LNON". Clicking again would reveal a date.
This date would end up being changed due to me unfortunately getting COVID-19 and because of Resident Evil 4 Remake releasing approximately four days after. The date was changed to April 15th, 2023.
On April 5th, 2023. I uploaded another video called, "PROLOGUE". This video would be written as if someone was speaking, like I was trying to tell a story. The video would then end with, "CHAPTER 1: PROLOGUE" fading to black.
So what was this project all about? And what caused me to reveal all of this nonsensical stuff in such an obscure way?
"Project LNON" was going to be a next-gen Attack on Titan Tribute Game experience. Even after announcing my departure from the game after releasing Fierce Deity Link Mod V3.
To say the least, I had a lot planned for this mod. A lot of things that I didn't feel would be worth it due to the game not being as popular as it once was. All of my drive and motivation suddenly sucked away from me as I began to realize that.
I'd been modding this game for over eight years, and I just thought it would be best to finally let myself go from it. That's basically it.
Thank you Mat, reru, Suncis, and mau for believing in me and what I could do with this game. The same way I believed and looked up to you guys.
