To AP Magazine fans:

Okay so AP recently announced that Hey Violet was the cover of the upcoming issue. I’m not sure how many of you know this, but HV aren’t great people. I’ve linked posts here, here, here, here, here, here, and here that really expose a lot of the shitty things they’ve done, as well as the general census of people who don’t really know/care about them. However, I’ll give you a TL;DR on why they’re so disliked.

They bullied out their lead singer.

They got dropped from their label from dropping said singer.

Rena (a white person) had dreads for a long time (11-18).

Wrote a song that’s about physical abuse (Make Up)

Wrote a song about wanting to be with an older guy (which is super inappropriate considering their target fanbase is 13-17) (Guys My Age)

Wrote a song that basically states that sex makes you unpure (Pure)

Have a song that sounds almost exactly like Just Dance by David Bowie (Brand New Moves)
