Just read a post on fb from our Mayor saying the problem with the electricity might be delayed even longer than we thought... so perhaps tomorrow it'll be fully restored.

My old man managed to get the power generator running and there's a bit of WiFi for now. So I won't be abled to do much until then.

No art, no new fic or update 😑😒 Nada, just random links and posts for now (can't even log in to my twt account).

What a drag.

Will you post an update on the situation in Puerto Rico? I have a lot of family there and I would just like to know how my people are doing.

I’ll update now( I hope your fam is doing alright):

- The AEE( Puerto Rico’s Power Authority) has stated that they’ve fixed the system and that everyone has electricity, but people are STILL reporting that they don’t have it. They also stated, that even though it’s “fixed”, citizens should be careful of how much electricity they waste, since the electricity system is fragile and it could collapse again. ( To anyone who isn’t from P.R, power outages occur here every week, but not at this MASSIVE scale, we were so unprepared the whole island was paralyzed for days)

- Approximately 50,000 still don’t have water

- After four days of bullshit, things are starting to get back go normal

- I’m really angered that the U.S didn’t report anything of what happened here! WE WERE IN A STATE OF EMERGENCY, PEOPLE DIED, AND NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE! WE ARE NOT APART FROM THE U.S, WE ARE A PART OF IT! And we were completely ignored…

Apagón or Puerto Rico Blackout

So I've been reading statements form the US media that Puerto Rico is recovering from the national blackout. HA! Wrong! 75% of the island had thier electricity in the morning but by the afternoon of today, September 23 2016, we're: experiencing even more blackouts, gas stations ran out of gas, someone died of intoxication from corbon monoxide from some personal power plants, there is a cop that died while handling traffic while the other one is Iinjured in the hospital, schools and universities have shut down until Monday (we hope) and some municipalities don't have water service. This has been a PSA. Ps: they still don't know what caused the fire 😠
