Cosette wakes up…not in her own bed. She bolts upright to get a look at her surroundings as she remembers what happened last night. Papa. Went to the hospital with Javert. Eponine. No longer talking to her. Told Montparnasse to hurt Papa?

Montparnasse. He walked her to his place. And then cleaned up his crime scene—her house. Where he hurt her Papa. She’s at his apartment. And she’s not going to cry this early in the morning.

Cosette gets out of the bed, and leaves the room, looking around for any sign of life in the apartment.

It didn't take a genius to figure out Cosette would go to see her father at the hospital, so that's where Eponine went. And sure enough, that's where she found her.
