No idea why it took me this long to do it, but alas. I call it night mode Apep as opposed to day mode Apep found in his usual form from this ref sheet here. That form is one he assumes more often, and it makes him look more like a sun god. He's able to do it because he was able to devour Ra for the day more than once, and so the power of the sun is within his repertoire to a degree.
He prefers the sun form specifically because it pisses Ra off and that brings him joy.
Still, he's a primordial entity of darkness and chaos, and he does have a form that reflects this more natural state.
