Apocalypse Dinner!
Okay, so I get like really really bored. Sometimes I get so bored I like to make a themed dinner. I know, it probably sounds kind of old. But hear me out, this could be potentially cool.
This will almost be like a camping/pillow fort style meal, in that you will need:
crackers
dried fruit and nuts or Vending Machine Spoils (that could be anything)
a few cans that you have removed the labels from
camping cutlery or plastic sporks
cans or bottles of what you want to drink
candles or a lantern (optional)
apocalypse movie or game
Can opener (if they don't have pull tabs)
Okay, so note on the cans! You can have some with veggies like green beans (my favorite cold), or fruit. On a weird note, I like spaghetti-o's cold. Everyone's favorite Watchman, Rorschach likes baked beans cold. You can even find army rations or say potted meat or Vienna sausages! Anyway, you get the idea. Fuck up the labels, tear them off, slightly dent the can (if they aren't already, I am just a broke hipster for buying fucked up cans).
Now, onto game or movie choices. Now you can go the obvious zombie survival route. Always a classic, btw. You can go Fallout, or A Boy and His Dog (great post apocalypse movie, go find that shit), Maybe even that new one, the Last of Us. I would even go with something like Metro 2033. There are so many movies or games you can play or watch, it's totally up to you.
THEN- set your stuff up, lock yourself in, and turn out the lights. If you have say, your candles or lamp going, it should cast a neat effect and dig in. You can do it with friends or alone. Maybe you have a gf/bf, whatever! I have don it alone before. It's kind of neat and creepy, and I have done it with my bf. It was really fun!
