I’m not one to get thrown off by crazy shit too easy. I’ve seen enough in my lifetime to be able to stomach just about anything. End of the world? Piece of cake. Been there done that.
Life on the road? Yeah, it’s rough. Hopping place to place between camps ain’t real stable, as you’d imagine, but I make do.
I can tell you, though, it’s all worth it...

Here’s the easy answer, I’m not. They’ll stay here. When my job with this guy is done, I come back and get them. Listen--I’ll cross that bridge when I get there. No one but me knows the supplies are here, anyway.

Hup-- [hops over a small ledge, making her way down the hill] --‘kay, here we go.
Hmm... It’s been a long time. If you mean how long the apocalypse has been going on, its been a few years for me. about... six, maybe? I don’t much keep track of time. Before that, I’ve been travelling for.. decades. Wandering, y’know.
(She wanders through the trees, looking up at the tufts. It’s been a few years since she’s seen healthy Truffula Trees...)
Wherever the wind takes me. Won’t bore you with my life story, but after Thneedville was liberated, I just set out to see whatever I could.
Yeah, it’s just how I like to travel. I’ve saddled up with camps a few times, but I tend to not stick around. Last one I was in started going bad real fast. I trust two people in this world--me, and Ted.

Guy on the radio’s promised me a year of supplies if I can be-- hm... insurance of sorts. I’m familiar with the work. And the reward for doing my usual thing is enough to sideline this trip for it.
I’ve been walking for a few days now.
