lee adama and a hovering concept of human rights because he isn't a big brother anymore and he's never sure if he is or isn't a son and kara thrace parts lover parts brother and dee dee dee untouched by the adama stain somehow but unknowable in this (and ultimately isolated in this) and when he sleeps at night a mobile turns above him with little laura roslin and tom zarek and gaius baltar, sad excuses for revolutionaries but mythological figureheads in lieu of a moral compass all the same, and at the end of it all it is lee adama who is alone and who wanders away from home, the thing they were always chasing, because just like kara thrace fights to survive because she doesn't know how to do anything else, lee adama walks away because it's the only thing his parents ever taught him and they sure as shit didn't teach him about home, but he will remember every single one of those people forever, every step a memory, lee adama will climb mountains and swim seas and count stars and still he will see faces in the clouds and never make his way off that battlestar
