Hii! SO I have had this in my drafts for a while so I decided to make a post for Lord Apollo as I have nothing better to do this evening. So I made a list of simple things you can do as an offering for Lord Apollo! These are things witches of all ages and stages can do! I hope this is helpful!

Creative Offerings

Sing to Him

Play musical instruments for Him

Hold dance parties in His honor

Write or read poetry for Him

Create art (drawing, painting, photography)

Compose or share music playlists dedicated to Him

Share your creative hobbies—anything made with love

Acts of Devotion

Try different types of divination

Pray to Him often (guidance, healing, inspiration, truth, prophecy)

Learn His myths, as well as the stories of His mother Leto, sister Artemis, and His lovers

Honor Leto and Artemis alongside Him

Study about Delphi and His temples

Reading and writing poetry dedicated to Him

Drawing art for him

Creating a Spotify playlist, including songs like “Apollo” by Momma and “HYACINTHUS” by Aidoneus together side by side

Buying a hyacinth flower (I'm ass at taking care of plants but I’m learning how to take better care of it)

Singing songs in his honor

Taking healing baths

Lighting incense

Practicing my tarot skills with him in mind

Bought a citrine ring and a bracelet stack (one broke, but I’m replacing the latch)

Learning more about his myths and the Temple of Delphi

Going on walks in the sun

Sharing coffee and honey together

He really likes my yellow and orange M&Ms…

Important Note:

Lord Apollo is part of the Greek Pantheon making him a Hellenic deity. Whenever you are about to offer a prayer or offering to him please make sure to cleanse yourself as Miasma. Miasma isn’t “sin” but rather ritual impurity or spiritual pollution that naturally builds up in daily life. Things like being sick, dealing with strong emotions, contact with death, or even just the general “uncleanliness” of everyday living can create miasma.

To honor a Hellenic God properly, it’s respectful to cleanse yourself first so you’re approaching them in a state of clarity and reverence.

Simple Ways to Cleanse Miasma

Wash your hands and face with soap and water before prayer or offerings.

Sprinkle yourself with khernips, which is water mixed with a bit of salt or a burning herb/leaf (like bay or rosemary) dipped into it.

Light incense and pass your hands through the smoke.

Take a shower or healing bath if you want a fuller reset.

a friend made this a while ago and i’m missing them extra hard today so i wanted to share it too, i guess in honour of him?

he always was a lot more creative than me and this was my favourite of their collages. i often use his work as inspiration for my own :3

i don’t know if he ever posted it to tumblr, he had a lot of accounts that he didn’t tell me about, but if you’ve seen this before, i’m assuming he must have posted it somewhere on here

i promise i didn’t steal it lol /gen he shared a lot of his art with me so it’s nice that i still have something of him

if you’ve seen this before and know the handle of the poster, please do not send it to me. he kept it from me for a reason. i don’t want to disrespect his wishes.

anyways. i wanted to write a little prayer

it’s under the cut

apollon boêdromios, apollon kataibatês, apollon intonsus, apollon paian, apollon phoibos.

the helper of the distressed. please shine your warmth and light on those who suffered as [my friend] did.

the protector of travellers who grants a happy home on return, please guide the teens who can’t stay in their house anymore to a home that loves them, and the spirits who wander to a happy, stable family upon reincarnation.

the unshorn youth, please keep the souls who never made it to adulthood, whose hair is long and uncut, in your loving embrace.

the healer, please let the cuts, burns, scratches and bruises heal without issue, and stay clean and disinfected. these young ones don’t know how to cope safely, so please prevent them from getting infected.

the bright. please use your radiant light to guide the children through the darkness. please assure them that there is another side, and it’s bright and full of love.

apollon, my father, you saved my life. and i apologise that i could not save my brother’s life in your name. i beg that you take pity on the troubled, suffering children who can’t find the light through the darkness. it seems to them to be eternal, but i pray that you show them it’s not

i am eternally grateful for you, father. please hear my words, my prayers, and accept my offerings dedicated to you.

I was at a mall yesterday (tipsy cause of a glass of restaurant wine bc im a lightweight) and I said to Lord Apollo(n) in my head:

"Lord Apollon im too fuzzy headed to find something at the mall to give/offer to you when I get home :( can you maybe help me find something i can give you?"

For context I am visiting family (today is my niece's birthday) and I wanted to get him and Lord Hermes something from my trip, but I was having a hard time because I was so tipsy.

But as I was leaving the mall defeated, with nothing but my tipsy-ness and leftovers from the restaurant I got wine from, my mom said someone put a duck on our rental car (people put ducks on Jeeps, didn't know that until that day), BUT I only realized today that the duck someone left on our car had a treble clef on it and I cannot stop laughing. I love the way Lord Apollo answers my prayers.
