It was a little nerve wracking to be sharing a practice room with someone else.
Well, maybe he shouldn't say that. Minki was used to practicing alongside a class of other ballet dancers. Sharing space with multiple others at once when it came to dancing was second nature; group warm ups and stretches, etc. What was so uncomfortable about this particular instance must have been something else. Perhaps the clear division in style and focus? It was more than obvious the two dancers occupying this space might have well been from different worlds.
It wasn't really a matter of style, or- obviously not -occupation. It was in the movement. The subtle approach taken to each piece of choreography. The strength of each transition. Even mannerisms of limbering up. It was in all the subtle things they differed. Not so subtle to he who had been immersed in dance since before he could walk, though.
Minki found himself admiring the way Mino put power into each move, but it wasn't right. He was too aggressive. Too much. The trainee had seen the idol-to-be dance differently; a sort of dance that called for a bit more exertion, but it didn't fit with the sort of choreography he was attempting now.
"You're breaking the moves."
It was more of a mumble than an actual comment. Lacking in any sort of spite or haughtiness the words spilled from his lip and he looked down instantly, resuming stretching. It wasn't his place to make conversation, and it definitely wasn't his place to point out any flaws. The last thing he needed was to upset someone.
