The way all the scenery is gone in the end of the MV, and he's left with the tattered remains of Amane's ideology.

The VD goes more into detail on why he became so attached to her moral code. Her simple words and insistence he could be "saved" made it possible to truly repent. It brings him so much relief that he sticks with it, no matter what happens around him.

It's "scary," but there's really nothing that can be done unless Fuuta finds another ideology that satisfies his guilt, imo. It seems that humans are wired for regret and the need to "do something about it."

Amane's views ultimately reflected the kind of world Fuuta truly longed for before he went viral: a simple, just world.

I love the parallels of Fuuta finding a new "identity" in the religion and Es's "identity" as warden. The use of Fuuta's entanglement with Amane's religion to further compare with Es was just brilliant.

imho inno Fuuta. He'll suffer enough without MILGRAM's judgement; after all, beliefs have consequences. No matter what he does going forward with Amane's teachings, a reaction will occur. Fuuta will continue learning his lessons.

Fuuta and Amane both need a solid community and a lot of help, and an "unforgiven" vote isn't gonna get them that. (tbh idk if anything will get them that unless there's a "Rehabgram" epilogue but somehow I doubt that; anything is possible tho!)

i was thinking about how the t3s so far seem to reference other prisoners and realized the way they're incorporated might be telling (mostly bc appare march's references to purge march/amane is much more subtle than how yuno and muu talk about mahiru and haruka respectively) this is a little ramblely and im not totally sure if im onto anything so feel free to add on or disagree

it might be bc amane is still alive while yuno and muu are directly dealing with their grief but i feel like it may be a representation of how fuuta feels about amane/amaneism and her impact on him. while he absolutely does not hate her and feels fond of her based on the t3 vd and the fact he asked us to save her, theyre not friends by any means. the reason theyre close is because amane's ideals is helping fuuta cope with his guilt. he pities her because he's an adult that recognizes how fucked this cult shit is but is still clinging onto her ideals because theyre helping him not go insane in milgram

while muu refuses to call haruka by name, he's all over the mv (first getting brought up at 0:35) and much of what shes saying can apply to both her feelings on the situation leading up to rei's murder or her feelings on us as the audience letting haruka die. i feel like this could represent how her feelings regarding her crime and the prison have become enmeshed (which makes sense, we've seen she consistently has an extremely unstable sense of self and her feelings on herself and her surroundings vary wildly depending on how people react to her) and how she cares about haruka but never fully understood him

comparatively, yuno directly addresses mahiru due to her own regrets in being able to save her (likely worsened by the fact shidou complimented her ability to act as a nurse and suggested it as a future career). yuno doesnt really seem to blame us, or shidou, or amane for mahiru's death so we arent being directly called out like in pain, she mostly seems to blame herself. out of the three so far, she is also the most self aware and has the best emotional regulation so she may also be able to better recognize her feelings regarding mahiru's death compared to how muu was confused about her feelings about haruka's other than Bad (same girl) and fuuta's about...everything in milgram idk where im going with this its just interesting
