me when i’m annoyed because torts needs to consider his shootout choices more carefully! way too much yapping under the cut:

i love tippett yall i promise. genuinely i do and i do think he’s an excellent player. but he’s on the coldest of cold streaks right now. he’s in like the arctic circle in terms of offensive production! he has 0% finishing power right now. i have no idea why torts thought that he would suddenly regain the ability to score after weeks without in a shootout against the golden knights of all teams, in a must score situation. i was actually genuinely kinda annoyed when i saw that torts put him out in the shootout. dude is ice cold recently, and there were several better options of guys who were going. tippy has never been particularly fantastic in the shootout (i don’t think at least) and especially not when he’s on a 15 goal pace for the season like this year.

anyways all of this to say i don’t hate tippett at all, i think he’s an awesome player having a down year, but he was just a terrible choice in this particular shootout, and i would’ve liked to see coots or frosty out there since both of them were buzzing on offense tonight!

so before this game started my mom and i were chatting and i said “man im so tired i need to go to bed early tonight. i sure do hope the flyers don’t go to the eighth round of the shootout or something stupid!”

i’m 18!

born and raised a flyers fan, somehow turned into an avs bruins and senators fan.

also getting into pwhl hockey but i didn’t watch the whole first season so i haven’t picked a team to support. i will be continuing to withhold support because i have seen the possibility of a philadelphia team! (i can’t get attached to the sirens and then discover that in fact i have to hate them bc the philly team has a rivalry w them)

I also enjoy phillies baseball but i don't know any baseball names if they aren't on the phillies, and i don't follow the whole league. i also enjoy eagles football on occasion (aka playoffs).

I climb regularly and i love watching bouldering (+ sometimes lead) events. i haven’t been watching the world cups this year live but i watch them when i can. climbing is my favorite sport (second favorite to watch, only behind hockey).

During the regular season this is like 80% a flyers/hockey blog and 20% other things (climbing, phillies, eagles, i also enjoy musicals, archery (not to watch, i just like to shoot sometimes), and planes so other stuff like that shows up sometimes, and sometimes i will bitch about working retail because working retail is the worst thing ever i think).

i almost always be found in a hockey lb tag! most frequently flyers lb, although i sometimes venture into bruins, avs, and canucks lb, and now flames lb after the worst trade in NHL history (danny b out here tearing apart familes). also if i am just watching any given game i might post about it in whatever team lb i happen to be rooting for in the game. also i do find myself in pwhl lbs sometimes when im able to catch those games!

goes left to right as favorite to least favorite. subject to change at my discretion. i finally updated it and the left to right thing is irrelevant in the last 3 rows except that i hate the blackhawks and ducks the most because i just do not care enough about those teams to try to come up with an opinion in terms of ranking. read: top 7 and bottom 2 are ranked, everything else is just tiered.

fuck the blackhawks and their stupid logo and organization (except bedsy).

i’m a sam ersson apologist and a huge frostbee enjoyer. THE TRADE TORE ME TO PIECES AND I AM A FLAMES FAN NOW. i am a fan of most flyers players (name one and chances are i love them) but there are exceptions sometimes.
