Erik/Christine + Rose for the three sentence fic

Erik was biting his knuckle in furious thought as he tried to figure out the best way to express his interest in courting one, Mlle Christine Daae. The lavish and expensive gifts he WANTED to shower her with would be too inappropriate for modern society - especially to a lady unwed to one such as himself! Roses or chocolates were more apt to showcase his intent, and societal rules did not specify how much... he would simply have to buy out all the roses the vendors had to offer to show the extent of his love.
