PAINT OUTSIDE THE LINES

Launched in 2011 by Samantha Robison, @AptArts has used hands-on art projects to empower marginalized children across large parts of the world. In 2016 AptArt turned its attention to the United States for the first time with its "Paint Outside the Lines" initiative in Portland, Oregon. Partnering with @pearmentor a local organization equipping youth affected by homelessness, AptArt invited Florida artist Ernesto Maranje to participate. The Miami-based artist and illustrator fuses all forms of nature as a reminder that we are all natural and should respect each other. Coming off of an inspirational experience partnering with AptArt and working with children in a Jordanian refugee camp, Maranje the creation of this Portland message of love at SE Belmont St and Water Ave on the back of @CargoInc international craftwork showroom. @ernestomaranje/
