Afghan forces airstrikes killed 19 militants, injured 8 others At least 19 militants have been confirmed dead and eight others injured as government forces aircrafts targeted Taliban hideouts in Aqcha district of Jawzjan district with Shiberghan as its capital over the past two days, an army spokesman Nasratullah Jamshidi said Monday, as cited by Xinhua news agency. The aircrafts, according to the official, attacked Taliban positions in Beshpak area and besides inflicting casualties also destroyed their weapon caches.
