A few different tank setups I've had between '21-'23. All of these are developments in my tetra community tank. The community tank is 80l planted tank with 3 black skirt tetras, some glo fish, neon tetras, a plecostomos, and shrimp&snails.

I'm happy with the progress and looking at how much I've learned while doing this hobby feels good. In the beginning, keeping the plants alive, felt like a huge deal. I was so excited to see new growth and would go through lots of heartache seeing plants melt away. It took months before I felt prepared enough to get my first fish. Now watching the fish living among the plants, shoaling, and looking healthy is one of the certain pleasures of my day 🐟🌱

ORM STANS I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU

so i got bored and started poking through Orm's DC wikia page and--

Thalassa is the Greek word for sea (meaning thalassokinesis here is movement of the sea) and looking at the way his powers are described here, that doesn't seem entirely accurate?

Able to telekinetically bend water bodies to his whim in a similar yet grander manner than Mera (first of all similar yet grander go off drama king) so like. The Crown in New 52-onward lets Orm do hydrokinesis. It's hydrokinesis. Meaning he can do what Mera does (but more, this I'm sure would be v important in his eyes).

AND I JUST WANNA LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT ACCORDING TO THE SAME SOURE WHAT MERA DOES IS HYDROKINESES

So???? Where do y'all stand on this? I'm kind of just curious, I think it's odd that Orm definitively gets limited to the sea when I don't think that's necessarily an accurate assessment. For me I'd think it would be better to call it hydrokinesis but I'm curious.

i think an underrated aspect of the ghost crew’s multiculturalism is that they all speak different languages. you could be chilling on the ghost and hear sabine refreshing rex and zeb on their mando'a as zeb develops lasat/mando'a pidgin all the while hera and chopper argue in nouchi / binary respectively in the background AND in the corner ezra’s speaking farsi to kanan, who’s responding in arabic. there’s so much fun to be had thinking about language exchanges 🌈
