And drawing with someone watching your every move and complementing everything you do is *definitely not* creepy....
I don't know if you were gonna go with good or bad on "arcane is", but on that subject I really think Silco is everything that stans wish Crosshair was and his voice performance is a million times better too (kind of a cold take but I wanted to say it anyway)
no I was gonna say it as a praise! the variety and performance of the actors for Arcane is SO good (grayson <333) even tho Jayce's voice is a little boring, there's SO much personality and unique ticks to how everyone speaks. and yeah silco's voice? a million times better than crosshairs. he's soft spoken but in a sharp way and crosshair just sounds like a disney cat. his character? a trillion times better. an antagonist i can actually sympathize with. design, story motivation everything--
no bc like silco is a sympathetic antagonist/villain who does terrible things, whom you can understand his motivations for them without supporting his violence. and him trying to fulfill his emotional needs in the worst way possible was SO narratively juicy because i'm sitting here like "he must have known this wouldn't end well. he must have" he's flawed! he's a villain who, in some ways, is right!
(killmonger was also right and that's why he's like. the best villain ive seen)
im rewatching arcane now and taking Notes TM and even with how little we see of Vander and him, they've managed to put into three episodes what the bad batch could not manage in literally twenty. that's embarassing for them lmao but go watch arcane!
(pls heed trigger warnings for animal death, children in danger, violence, etc, and also be aware that while every nonwhite character is treated better than like. every nonwhite character in all of star wars. they don't last long 🥴 but its still preferable to tbb)
