All right I've talked about the love interest now it's time to talk about my other main characters partner, orion. Because because I can't wait for the book to be written and published and people to be interested in it before I start talking about them! Orion is Castors queer platonic partner.
He's alternative somewhere between punk and goth, He's got this really badass "test me and I will make you regret ever being born" vibe and he will beat bitch for his friends and community.
But hes an archaeologist and his house is full of antiques and artifacts He is reconstructing. (Which he does while listening to rock music)
He is also the group's healer and after the events of the first book castors main caretaker.
His magical guardian is this long owl creature and he wears black leather shoulder armor to defend against their talons. As well as arm bracers to protect his arms when he shoots his bow.
And I just think he's cool I think it's really really fun to have this like armored up chained and spiked guy (I really need to draw him all done up I've only ever drawn him in his casual clothes) with full trad goth makeup very gently caring for his best friend and nerding out with him over a piece of old pottery.
