notes and stuff under the cut
saffaf is actually taller than she's supposed to be here. i used a rather old height reference for all of these, and i didn't think about the fact that i changed her height since then LOL. here she's about 5'9" but she's supposed to be 5'7 (same height as erilee) or 5'7.5"
nyctea and bisrum are about the same height (bisrum might be a tiny bit taller)
cyglin and archis are about the same height
after i finished vivaan's, i revised nyctea, bisrum and flotik because their proportions were Wack. they had... fat heads
i slightly changed rudine's too. his joy and optimism? GONE (he's not really smiling now)
rudine and riagli have matching shiny suits, which riagli probably got for both of 'em :^]
i have now fully committed to god tiers having their shoes be the colors of the opposite aspect. e.g. doom now has life-flavored shoes, whereas before rudine and gustom had hope colored shoes. erilee now has white accents on her shoes for space coloring. i realize this objectively looks less good, HOWEVER, well let's just say they get in-universe upgrades to their god tiers, visually.
story-related spoiler though: rudine having hope colored shoes is technically fitting even if it isn't correct by my logic ;)
if you're wondering where riagli's, flotik's, gustom's and heidis' signs are on their sleepwear: riagli simply is not wearing hers, flotik's is on a massive tag sticking out the back of the collar of his shirt, gustom's is in gorgeous embroidery on the back of his robe, heidis is also straight up not wearing hers
the only difference between archis' and heidis' regular clothes and their swimwear is the absence of their scarf/sandals and jewelry respectively. Because they are fish people and you'd think they'd want to be ready to just walk into the ocean anytime and not have to change clothes. riagli, also a seadweller, is exempt from this because she HATES the feeling of wet clothes, and prefers to change into something that she's okay with getting wet on her
bisrum is the only one here who gets to be shirtless #NIPPLES

stick (they have a bad knee) not included with their god tier because they can fly, and for their swimwear it's because well they're not walking they're swimming
and this is just a little something to show the more recent ways i draw their different eye ornamentations (ALSO KNOWN AS EYELASHES AND EYE MAKEUP.) for a while, heidis, riagli, and vivaan had the same kind of eyelashes but they're all different now tee hee
is Archis's lusus a bobbit worm? I was looking through his tag and saw it and thought it as neat!
Yeah! Their lusus is a combination of bobbit worm and giant millipede.
Some other wormy stuff:
Squiggs is just a juvenile of his species. little baby man. Meemaw in the main's timeline is what a full sized individual looks like, they take a few centuries to reach full size.
Archis is one sweep older than Squiggs. They didn't have a lusus before Squiggs was born. You know how some kids just start bawling when they're handed a puppy because it's so cute? That was them.
The scarves Archis is always wearing are more for Squiggs to hold on to than anything else, because he has sharp feet that aren't particularly forgiving to necks.
Meemaw was able to be taught morse code by Spiros, and some people (like Erilee) still use it to talk with her.
