Staircase, Vezva Tower

When thinking about the Vezva tower, I imagine an enormous pillar erected square in the middle of the world, so large it nearly consumes the horizon and becomes incomprehensible to the human mind. I want it to be unnatural, a monument that embodies the feeling of "this is wrong".

The staircase connecting the various tiers of the Vezva Tower is similar: it is endless and uncertain, even though it stands at the core. I wanted to give it this nautical feeling, to make it resemble a fossilised shell, old as the oceans that once might have been but are no more.

I wonder, how would Viva feel descending it for the first time? Would she be excited? Or would she worry about tripping on the worn-down steps

How many people have walked this path before her?

How many of her kind have lost their souls to it?

To Viva... Things may be simple yet complicated at once.
