i absolutely love the colors and textures of these portraits... does anyone have any more info about this series? the artist, the context in which they were painted, or the subjects?
sadly the archive i work for only has them filed as "Blackfeet Portraits" and i would love to be able to research and attach any further context to them as we start to digitize the collection.
please let me know if you recognize these and have something cool to share, or if you just want to see more of the portraits in the series. :)
