Day 7 for @falloutocweek (can also be Day 2: Companion & 3: Memory)

Last year I was extremely privileged to visit Las Vegas, and then Goodsprings as part of the Fallout Fan Celebration event. This is an edit over a photo my friend Gatsby (@defiantdrills / bsky) took on the hill the intro location is based on, which overlooks the actual cemetery and the distant highway 95. I wasn't able to make the climb up the hill due to disability, and it'll probably will be years before it is safe enough for me, an openly transgender person, to even visit the United States again. I hope one day when I do get to return, I'll have rebuilt the strength to make the climb, and to sit up on that hill (ideally also in cosplay).

And it'll probably rain, because every time I visit Vegas it rains there.

Arcourier to me is queer joy in the face of adversity. My Courier, Six is a bisexual trans man, and as silly as it might sound he's been a beacon of light in the wake of grief and depression in my life. I'd like to revisit this piece in the future, but for now I'm glad I could submit something on time. Finished, not perfect.
