I almost thought “Herzchen” was just Herz full name BUT NO, it meanS SWEETHEART ?!!

You are not the only one thinking like that! I remember the Russian translation group translating the “Herzchen” literally how it’s written, as if it was his full name :)

Any German word combined with an ending “-chen” means the smaller and cuter version of the original word(like adding “-y” to English nouns). So a more direct translation of Herzchen would be “little heart” or “hearty” but “sweetheart” fits too and sound so much nicer :)

I’ve been asked this a few times already :) So I definitely wasn’t born a doctor nor is it my calling or family tradition. Modesty aside I was exceptionally good at school so I could study any profession I wanted for free. I wanted a profession that had something to do with science which was also in demand and would always guarantee me a job with a stable income and in addition to that help contribute to the society. Medicine was the way to go!

i was just recced FTD like... 24 hours ago and ive caught up so quickly and read all the free bits i could and i just need you to know hh is now my life. i want to put lunge in there too cause baby needs love but ALSO lunge and vanilla is... good... but hhl... listen....hhl is VERY good. thank you for the food. i love lunge so much

Thank you for your question. I completely forgot to answer, super sorry about that! I already had the characters and their backstories from my old comic, so they were always there so I just had to come up with the main storyline, name, layout, which took a couple of weeks, I think!
