ARCTIC ROAD TRIP
Filming in Finnmark, in the northernmost part of Norway, this week. Long, open roads, mountains, sea - beautiful landscape and dramatic histories in what used to be on the the frontline of the Cold War.
WALL OF ICE When you come close, you discover the enormity. One of the boats is the size of a fishing vessel. The wall of ice is at places close to 200 ft tall. Blomstrand glacier, across the Kongsfjorden from Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard.
COLORS OF THE ARCTIC
The old, painted, wooden houses of Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard, a colorful contrast to the settlement´s ice blue and snow-white surroundings.
