▼Gear: Yellow pack (Basic map of the mall, 1 1/2 ham sandwiches, 1 1/2 bottles of nestea, 1 punnet of summer strawberries, 20 matches, 6 feet of rope,  first aid kit (Two bandages, antiseptic cream, alcohol wipes))

▲Weapons: Hunting knife (from pack), twirling baton, spiked dowel, cane, silk

▼Injuries: bruise on left thigh

▲Notes: fought against a weird tap dancer, received two sponsor items, ended up in a supermarket where Naxos bought condoms. Fantastic.

(Don’t) Hold Me Closer, Tiny Dancer; Tricycle

After a groggy night’s rest, I woke up right before it was my next watch.  Cypress was still sleeping and Naxos kept watched.  My throat felt awfully sticky, probably from the disgusting fumes in this cafe, so I took a swig on my nestea before heading to Naxos.

“How was the watch?” I asked.  “I can take over now if you’d like,” I offered when suddenly our attention turned to some sort of wooden tapping and we soon spot a dapper-looking figurine.  He almost looked like he could be a ringmaster of the circus, the resemblance to Mueller quite striking.  His little jig was quite entertaining and the tapping woke up Cypress and we all backed up a considerable distance as we watched the show the little guy put for us.

Removing his top hat and taking a low bow, the creature’s mechanical yet smooth voice declared: “Greetings, citizens, for I am Jed Asture,” and just as quickly as he appeared, his pupils turned red and he lunged forward, his cane in hand, and struck toward us.  We all quickly dodged out of the way and readied ourselves for a fight.
