last he & corey spoke, the other had expressed his unhappiness about his godly parent not responding, which was .. a little over a month ago now, wasn't it? a lot could happen in a month & when lev caught wind of the other in the arena, he figured he might as well pounce. he didn't speak with his own parent in quite a while, too busy trying to keep up with the blacksmith during their travels.
he waited for the ares son to lay down his weapons before approaching him, waving a little, "hey, you ever hear from dad? how's it going'?"
