It's no longer cool to keep your head out of politics. Remaining ignorant over what affects all of us is, unsexy as hell. Also, stop the asinine "they're all the same" or "we need a third party" bullshit. Until a magical third party starts becoming involved in local politics (like, actually entering and winning local races), I've no time for that ridiculousness either. One party has become so extreme and is no longer viable; the other is broken into two- corporatists and left of center. We, still, can make a difference with this party.
