Crazy pretty little liars theory.
Okay so this might sound crazy so you have to keep an open mind. So for years we have been trying to figure out who 'A' is and what possible reason they could have for targeting these four 'innocent' girls. Well I think that the big twist is that they aren't really the victims at all. They are sort of the instigators of this whole mess. I have always been suspicious that they knew more about what happened that night than they let on.
Remember that scene with Spencer chasing after that blonde girl with a shovel, They never showed us the girls face, Remember in Season three when Emily went to Doctor Sullivan for hypnosis and she remembered seeing Ali get hit that night but then she later said that she mixed up the memories, well either way that still means that she remembered seeing something happen to a blonde girl that night. Neither of these scenes were ever talked about or explained. Or what about Jason's flashback from that night, he found a red plastic cup in his backyard just like the ones the girls were drinking that night, more proof that they woke up that night and went onto the Dilaurentis property.
I think that the girls definitely woke up that night, or maybe they were never really asleep at all? They all had their own reasons to Hate Ali, She Blackmailed them with their secrets, Controlled them, bullied and manipulated them. Maybe they all came up with a plan together to kill Alison, Maybe the girls were even the Original A-team against Alison? This part is abit Hazy, Or maybe because they were drugged that night and drinking Alcohol (And spence was on speed) it can all cause you to be voilent and do things you normally wouldn't do. (Remember Veronica's flashback, She was cleaning up after Spencer and Mellisa's fight and Alison was sneaking in after curfew, that look Spencer gave Alison wasn't a nice one, she certainly looked like someone capable of Murder in that moment. )
So lets think about the episode "It happened that night" It had alot of parallels with 1x01. I think the Title of that episode was intended to show us what happened the night Ali went missing. I think that when the girls woke up in the pilot they were really rehearsing their story, acting it out, if they ever had to take a lie detector test than it would make it easier to pass it if there was actually some truth behind what they were saying. Remember what Spencer said, "That drugging yourself is the best alibi ever." Maybe she was drugging herself that summer because she was planning on doing something to Ali and if she couldn't remember what she did then she wouldn't fail. I think that Aria and Hanna burying the shovel was signifying them getting rid of the evidence and covering up what happened to the girl in the grave. Maybe Emily burried her? Thats why she was framed as the person who dug up Ali's grave. I am positive that Spencer killed the girl. Firstly because of her flashback scene from that night, secondly because remember that Alison found out she was on speed that night, Spencer could of wanted to shut her up. Remember when Charles put all that blood on her in the doll house (unless she hallucinated it) either way she is being haunted by what she did. And all the girls have recieved messages reminding them of their gulit over their actions.
"What will you do when the rest of me comes out of the grave," "You know me Spencer you killed me." "Stop digging the police already know its you whose capable of murder." "If only she could see how Gulity you look." Remember those codes from Season three? Miss Aria Your a killer not Ezra's wife = MAYA KNEW. They never discussed this one, they talked about the other ones but not this one. Why? Maybe Maya found out what they did to The girl in the grave?
Maybe the real reason the girls stopped being friends during that year was because of what they did and the only reason they came back together was to figure out who was after them.
So most of us have all described the girls as being extremely idiotic and seriously lacking any common sense even Spencer. For example, Discussing their plans outloud in public places, Talking near their phones/computers even through they know that A can tap into them, etc. but maybe they are actually Alot smarter and more manipulative than we give them credit for. I believe that they truly don't know who A is but as for their discussions about 'who might be the killer' I think those were purposely spoken about for the sole purpose of A hearing them and it was their way of manipulating A?
I think that that THREE girls were burried on the Dilaurentis property. Not two. It sounds crazy but at the same time it's not that crazy. Ever notice how the scenes of the hands coming out look very different, they come out at different speeds, one was clean and the other had dirt and roots all over it. They are even burried in three different positions. A dead girl can't move around.. I think that two girls came out of the ground and one stays burried. Alison was the hand with the roots and she was burried in some random spot in the backyard, but another hand from that gazebo construction had her hand come up too. So Charotte probably really did hit Alison (But I don't think she intended to hit Bethany I think that was a lie) or maybe Mary hit Ali and Charotte lied to cover up her mothers existence and involvement. I think the flashback of Charles and Bethany was also a lie, (the timing was just too off and I don't think they really hated each other)
I think that Alison got hit, and then pulled out by grunwald. Then I think that one of two things happend. The liars hit Bethany young that night but she dug her way out (maybe with help from someone else) Remember how Alison supposedly sent Bethany that letter, well maybe Bethany throught that Ali lured her there and the liars tried to kill her. So now she has a motive for hating them.) So Maybe that Body Mellisa found was somebody tricking Mellisa into thinking it was the girl Spencer hit and Mellisa then burries her to Cover it up. Now This person/people have things to hold over Mellisa's head and the liars.
We don't know the timeline of that nigth but I think Ali got hit pretty early in the night, She went off with Mona, then the liars hit Bethany, She gets pulled out, now Mellisa Burries this other girl. (Not sure who she is yet, maybe it really was Bethany and Sara Harvey was her sister and wants Revenge or Sara Harvey is the real dead girl and Bethany hates the girls because they tried to kill her? Maybe the NAT club got everything that happened on tape and Thats why Mellisa was so desperate? Or maybe it was something else entirely? But then why does someone keep killing NAT club members maybe they know too much? They captured something very incriminating, or something that they aren't supposed to know.
Remember how just after Garrett told Spencer that Mellisa was on the phone to someone saying "what do I need to do to get your attention, call 911." Well I think it was Willden. Wren was only a med student at this time, while Willden was a cop. Maybe he was on the NAT club too. His porn stash might be the nat videos.
I think maybe he is connected to Either the girl who really ended up dead or The girl the liars tried to kill. Thats why he is so obessed with trying to pin it on the girls, he knows they really did do it and simply wants justice. I was thinking that Maybe Wilden was a lover? Idk just an idea, remember they called BW 'Veiled Greiver' so maybe she was really Greiving Willden? That explains her attitude to Charotte. It was a rough day for her?
I also think that Wren is maybe an older bro to Bethany/Sara or both if there sisters. He wants revenge for what the girls did.
So I think that the people involved are Charotte/Eliott/Mary/Bethany or Sara/Wren/Wilden/Mona/Aria! With an MPD. Maybe her other personally wants to punish people for their actions (Lady Justice) she used the type writer in Ezra's apartment to write the letter outing her father for his affair for revenge? She is 'A' because of what the girls did to Bethany/Sara and maybe because of the Jenna thing. There is so much evidence pointing to Aria being A and having Mentle issues.
But anyway they assembled the perfect group to do all this and not have to get in trouble. Charotte Pleaded insanity where her lover is her doctor and can help get her later released. Sara/Bethany claims Stolkhome syndrome, Willden is dead by this time, Wren is supposedly in another country and there is no proof connecting him back to anything (Same as Eliott.) they made sure of that. Mary's whole existence is a secret so she cant get in trouble, and No one would EVER suspect Aria (in the show)
I will do a better written one of these later with the actual evidence but I am too tired right now.
