I can’t stop thinking about the fact that when I was an undergraduate, I was banned from going on study trips after an incident where I had a panic attack around badly organised “going on public transport” and asked if I might be excused from similar situations and make my way by foot instead. The reasoning was that I had not applied in advance for these concessions to be made, or indeed “informed the supervising tutors”. The supervising tutor, of a group of about ten students, was my pastoral care tutor, who ridiculed my issues on a regular basis, so I would say he was pretty aware of them. I... don’t know where I’m going with this. Because I do agree that guidelines are useful. I guess this is my Entitled Snowflake Tendencies showing. But at the same time, you know. Punishing disabled students is not a good look, Falmouth University. (yeah okay I’m bitter and I think everyone should know that Fal Uni is a hellhole)

it’s really Fun when your tutors are like “so if your source cites a different source, and you want to use that, you need to go to the source they were citing” but when you try to do that you can’t because there are no digital copies of the text and the physical copies are fucking quarantined.
