This form of a truncated pyramid surrounding an inverted pyramid appeared to me as deeply significant a number of years ago. I now feel I have a satisfactory interpretation.
The key came from contemplation of prime pairs, whose sums are always divisible by twelve.
The first triad of emanation correspond to the numbers one, two, three and to the zodiacal properties of fixed, cardinal, mutable.
The primes corresponding to the next four spheres occur in two prime pairs; five and seven, eleven and thirteen, which sum to twelve and twenty-four. This relation to twelve got me thinking again about the zodiac and how the reflection of the first three spheres would manifest in the next four.
