quietly re-writing Arkady’s resume from scrapper to holosmith
I’m not sure how many makeover / hair kits I’ve spent on Arkady. I’m thinking this is the last one. In the meantime, I’m getting good at not dying during hammertime. Scrapper gets a bum rap from the meta, but its been pretty fun so far! I just have to take him more cautious than I do Awilde and her army of imaginary axes.
A GW2 RP ask idea: Your alts and what mount they prefer to ride on.
Skoryy: “Well, I have always been incredibly fond of hounds. Admittedly, the mastiff is rather large, but it makes for a, ah, a stable firing platform.”
Awilde: “Have you seen the armadillo, its. So. Cute! It gave me a thumbs up! AND IT SQUEAKS! I have to bring it home to Ossan and show my sisters!”
Nanuchka: “Um, you have to go to the desert to get a mount, right?”
Elke: “Look, you know how long it took me to find a raptor my size that isn’t spooked by shades and flesh golems? I’m not going through all that again!”
Arkady: “Have you seen the beetle’s saddle? Golemagical guidance controls, an alchemical ion thruster, the latest in gravitational tech- er- yes, the beetle is cute too, I guess.”
Puttering around during a rare slow period at the office, now I have concepts and base ideas for Arkady and Penelope. Yay, more humans! At least they’re not nobles!
The big guy’s a blacksmith / inventor / maker who’s not above doling out the occasional hammer of justice, as well as the occasional powder keg of justice. Arkady like big boom. Beyond that, he’s very friendly and highly curious.
I did a bit of a retcon on Penelope as I couldn’t quite fit a spoiled brat as a necromancer. She’s still perfectly perfect, though! She’s cute! She knows blood magic! She carries an axe! She’ll find new and creative ways to get on your nerves! And she never ever shuts up! You’ll love her!
