Hahhhh, I might! Or I might just link to the ask at the end. Either way, it will be posted in some form at the end of the final chapter (with credits to anon), because lol. Jesse absolutely deserves a “world’s worst armadillo” mug though. I imagine the armadillo-shaming will never really go away.

Did I write that armadillo drabble primarily to indulge my need to see Hanzo and Lúcio interact more and to let Hanzo for once act in a reasonably normal big brother way? Did I also forget a thousand details I spent too much time thinking about, like what brand of beer Lúcio would think to pair with yakisoba?

After being turned back into a human does Jesse keep any armadillo-like traits or habits? Like will he jump straight up when startled or.... Other armadillo behavior I’m not aware of lol

GOSH what a good question. He will definitely want to but be unable to flick his ears, but honestly he’s been very put off by the whole affair and just wants a damn steak and to be able to use his words, so he probably won’t maintain most of his Most Armadillo-y behaviors.

(Although imagining actual human McCree flicking his tongue around the way armadillos do BASICALLY made my night.)

Every time I saw a squashed ‘dillo on the road this weekend I thought of dillo!Cree.

RUDE LOL. This is the worst way to be reminded ever! But fun sort-of-spoiler: the fact that armadillos are freaking roadkill animals is part of why he’s an armadillo, so I guess I had this perverse humor in my head while planning/writing, too.

I’ve become so obbsessed with Armadillo Mcree and Hedgehog Hanzo and now Chicken Hanzo that I keep coning back to your blog like 5 times a day to see if there’s any new fanfiction of it from you or anyone else. I have a become addicted to these aus.

LOL. Oh gosh, I am so sorry to have done this to you. Alas, armadillo McCree is going a little slowly (although it’s outlined!) since I have a more serious WIP and get distracted all the time and also sometimes do Actual Work Things. (One day I’ll admit to the whole blog crowd just how often I’m simultaneously writing for work/school and for fun.) 

But ummmm people keep sending me headcanons and funny stuff and ART and the occasional fic, so hopefully there’s just hella cute content for a nice long time!
