Ildirym is a wandering sylvari whose ebony wood fossilized into ironstone fractured with opalization, dragonbrand amethyst and cracks of white quartz/pale amethyst that formed within wooden cracks during exposure to The Brandstorm. These amethyst cracks glow at night, amplifying the sylvari's bioluminescence. Priory reports say this sylvari is typically self-assured and a little cocky, but may turn serious, stern, and quiet with little or no notice. They will sometimes stare into the distance at nothing in particular, lost in "their" thoughts—echoes of Kralkatorrik—and will produce slight electricity at this time; do not touch directly! They also cannot hear words during a lightning/thunderstorm, as the energy of the storm takes hold in their mind and drowns out the surrounding world. Places of brandstorm activity will also produce this effect, but with a touch more madness. Exposing this sylvari to high brandstorm activity is discouraged with utmost emphasis, as the Magisters have determined this would result in an irreversible transformation with high percentage risk of Ildirym's sentience being lost forever.
