German police managed to thwart a planned arson attack on a refugee shelter in eastern Germany after receiving an anonymous tip-off about th
So apparently an “arson attack” was done on an “anti-abortion” place in Madison between yesterday and today. We passed by the place a couple times today and there was nothing indicating that a crime has taken place outside besides some really neat graffiti. (That we couldn’t see. We weren’t looking though since nothing stood out to us about the building.)
This is what it looks like inside:
I dunno about you, but I don’t think molotovs can throw around books and fire can conveniently avoid everything. Including that candle with zero of it’s wax being melted.
If there was an arson attack we would’ve heard about it before the news got to it because alarms would be going off and people would be talking. Unless the arsonist also turned those alarms off? When Glass Nickle’s blew up in Sun Prairie people were hearing about it all over America, but we don’t even get a security alarm from this?
I’m not even sure what this business is about and we pass it almost every time we go out.
This is what a building actually looks like after being attacked with fire, by the way:
Basically what I’m saying is, this is another case of insurance fraud caused by people who are upset that they’re not victims of the people who they hate.
According to this article, the owners claimed that it was a molotov cocktail that did it, but they were able to determine that the fire wasn’t ignited and the fire was separate from the cocktail.
Edit: I forgot to link the article, so I did. I knew that I was going to forget, told myself not to forget and I forgot anyway.
PRINCE WILLIAM has sent a letter of praise to an ex-Royal Marine after he lost his home in County Durham to an arson attack.
According to an LKA spokesperson, a far-left activist group claims it cut Tesla's power supply by setting fire to "six high-voltage cables above ground."
Amidst a year that’s already been unpleasantly surreal, it’s hard to believe it’s been a year yesterday since the arson attack on Kyoto Animation. There aren’t a lot of deaths/tragedies in entertainment news that hit me hard, but this one left me stunned for weeks. My heart weighs heavy to think of the talented artists who will never again be able to share their works and visions with the world.
I don’t want to remember them this way, however; I don’t want to see Kyoto Animation known as “the studio that got attacked”. I hope audiences new and old can continue to love and cherish the stories KyoAni has told, and I hope for the very best as they continue forward.
We fear death yet are afraid to live.
