Everyone who filled the out the form, please go check your emails to see the results. We’re amazed by the huge amount of artistic talent we saw, and can’t wait to see the wonderful work you’ll produce!

Unfortunately, we DID have to send out some rejection mails. We would like to thank everyone who applied, whether we were able to offer you a slot or not. Please do not take this as a criticism of your art, we simply received far too many applications for a limited amount of slots and weren’t able to fit everybody in.

We’d also like to thank the people who’ve tirelessly signal boosted our posts and tagged artists who you thought would be interested. This fandom has been absolutely amazing and supportive, and we’re excited about the wonderful calendar we’ll be able to present to you soon!

Convention sketches 2014 - thoughtbubble and beyond

Hi guys! I've been terribly unorganised this year, but CONVENTION SKETCHES! ^_^ My tumblr is pretty quiet these days so I'm not sure how many of you are out there reading, but if you're headed to thoughtbubble and want to organise a pre-con sketch, drop me a line. I'm a late addition to the event, but I'm super excited to be heading along after missing last year! And if you're at the Lakes Festival, I won't have a table at the event, so will be limited to super fast sketchy sketches while I'm signing, so - again - if you'd like something a little more substantial to pick up at the show, holler at me. :) (I will accept MCM pre-con sketch slots too, but they're a little more limited as the show's around the corner, it feels!) So, if you want me to turn up to the event in question with a piece of art just for you, get in touch. See you there! Ems ^_^

As before, these are free slots used more for me to get out of my artistic comfort zone than anything else. All you have to do is follow a few simple rules. 

Nox's Art Slot Rules:

Slots are reserved via Asks, not via commenting on this post. This is how I keep them in order. 

Slots are for single-character only, don't have to be Halo-related, may be OC or canon, portrait or posed. No nudes, no pinups. However the character must be human - I don't draw animals, I don't draw anthros, sorry. 

One slot per user. Period. Yes I know most of your alts, don't test me on this one. 

Once your name is added to the list, you need to send me a second Ask or a Fanmail, detailing your character's appearance. More than just "brown hair green eyes skinny and short", please? I need to know their scars, their birthmarks or tattoos if they have them, etc. Faceclaims for reference are always welcomed. Give me at least a paragraph's worth on your OC, please. Those who do not have these to me within 48 hours of getting a slot forfeit it. 

As these are free, understand that I may not do them in order, and that while I strive to do them in a timely fashion, you gotta be patient. 

While this list is up, you'll still see me occasionally posting artwork of my own because, well, as I said these are free. That doesn't give you the license to poke me about em. 

The piece you get is full colored, digital. It'll be posted here and on my DeviantArt account where you can get the higher res version. Feel free to use them but please credit me for doing them for yah. 

The only other thing I ask is that you guys be Following me if you're making the requests, because I prefer to keep it within my friends. Anon requests, also, will not be honored. I've still got my piece of Hunter Adelaide to finish tonight before I start on these, but uuuh... yeah.
