Let’s talk about texture. As someone who paints with oils, I’m always trying to push digital tools to capture that same rich, tactile depth. Using AI to explore lighting concepts and high-detail rendering gives me so many ideas for the studio. 🖌️🤖

Best of Vermillion 2023/24 ArtZine

Tiny passion project of mine - I wanted to try my hand at making zines and here's the result! :DD 16 pages of my doodles from RedFlagScribbles, revamped and put together in a tiny PDF C: You can find it on my ko-fi or itch.io (totally free! :D). I've put remaining spreads and a bit of info on what Red Flags were under the cut for those curious! c:

RedFlagScribbles was an art account ran by 5 mods, each in charge of posting one doodle on their day of the week. It was supposed to be kept a secret at first until we rank up some posts, but then it kinda stayed a secret (which is why I'm not tagging my fellow mods :P). The goal was to post low-effort doodles consistently, to explore new mediums/ideas and hype each other up. I was mod Vermillion, in charge of Thursdays. Thanks to this project I found an aesthetic I enjoy creating in, I realised I enjoy hand-written typography a lot and that messing with textures is awesome! :D This little zine is the celebration of that, a nice wrap-up of that experience :DD
