There’s not much known about the creator of Project Minerva. His personal life is a widely guarded secret, mainly because he values his own privacy rather highly. However, there is a Wikipedia page - because there’s always a Wikipedia page - that details what little information about him has been released into the public sphere.
Before Project Minerva, Artemis worked as the Director for Earth Science Project Division at NASA, which is what allowed him to work in such close conjunction with the organisation in making sure that his own personal project was a success; something they were more than happy to do when they initially realised how long the Earth had left. Prior to working at NASA, he received his bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Stanford University, before going on to receive a master’s degree in the same subject.
Initially guarded and somewhat reserved, he tends to open up a little more once he gets to know you. Someone once told him that he can appear cold, so he often finds himself making an effort to seem more warm and personable. He even has a sense of humour, though it takes a little while for it to actually show. Though he probably won’t admit it, he actually enjoys spending time with other people, but that’s because he’s just been so used to spending time on his own.
